Who we are and contact
Knotwell is a private app for couples and small groups. To talk to us, write to hello@knotwell.app.
Who can use it
Knotwell is only for people aged 18 and over. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18.
How to use the app
Use the app with respect. Invite only people who want to be here, and always let each person answer at their own pace, or not answer.
Do not use Knotwell to pressure, deceive or expose other people. Do not share what someone showed you in private without their will.
Your data
There are no accounts. Your answers stay on your phone, encrypted. What you share in a knot (your private group) is end-to-end encrypted: only the people in the knot can read it.
The details are on the privacy page.
Purchases
The first version is free. If paid features arrive later, they will be sold through Apple or Google, whose rules apply to payments and refunds, and we will update these terms.
Third-party content
Some readings in the app are from KNOTY and open in your browser. That content is theirs and follows their terms.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The app is provided as it is, with no promise that it always works or is free of errors. We are not responsible for decisions made based on the content, or for lost data, since we have no copy of it.
The law that applies to you may give you rights that these terms do not take away.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version in force is always the one on this page, with the date of the last update.
Governing law
Portuguese law and European Union law apply. This does not affect the rights you have as a consumer in your country.
